College: Programs of Study - Advanced Diploma

The Advanced Diploma - Kinesiology and Energy Psychology program begins with the Basic Kinesiology Practice (BKP) program.

Upon successful completion of the BKP program Students may then continue on into the professional diploma program.  This program typically takes 2-2½ years to complete.

Upon successful completion of the professional diploma program Students may then continue on into the advanced diploma program.  This program typically takes 2-2½ years to complete.

A&P 301 - Human Anatomy and Physiology
This is an external unit that is a university/ technical institute training class in Anatomy & Physiology that includes practical labs. It is to the level of Advanced Nursing (Level 5 in NZ), and is a more in-depth requirement than what is taught in a Massage Diploma.

You will need to complete this unit with the appropriate university/training institute in your country and hand your Proficiency Certificate in to your College so that RPL can be awarded. For more information please contact your local College.

BFR 301 - Business Finance and Records
This is an external unit that is a university/ technical institute training class granted RPL status by ICPKP.

There are two ways to qualify for RPL.

  1. The student completes a BFR-equivalent course in their own country, containing material similar to that listed below. Their college applies to ICPKP for RPL for the unit in the usual way.
  2. Alternatively, they may be eligible for RPL based on current/previous experience. This is also known as Recognition for Current Competence (RCC).
    • To qualify, the student must be able to prove they have held the position of Office Manager (or equivalent) for at least two years with responsibilities including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, banking, invoicing, etc.
    • If currently self employed or a business owner, the student should be meeting the requirements below and/or have some recognized business training (with a Certificate) and should provide their college with evidence they they know the current regulations for their country/state/city.

This is the standard that NZQA require and we think this will help Faculty when choosing a course for your people, in your country.
