Same class time - less travel time and cost!
For people who live in remote areas or areas where there is not sufficient student base to allow us to run a class there, we offer the Distance Commuter program. This program is designed to allow for the same high quality of education but will cut down on travel costs by around 50%.
Recognizing the need to make this information available to the broadest section of the population possible ICOHA has undertaken to extend it’s programs to other locations through out the USA and world such that more students would be able to participate.
The Distance Commuter programs meets once every two months. Class meets for five consecutive days and two modules are taught back-to-back over those five days (e.g. BKP 101 and 102). Then the student returns home for seven weeks to complete both assessment journals.
This program is the same amount of classroom and program time, but reduces students travel considerations and costs by about 50%.

1. Outbound Distance Commuter Programs at Other Locations - College Without Walls
ICOHA is willing to facilitate or offer programs to any location were there is enough confirmed commitment to make it viable for all involved.
Tuition for these locations will vary depending on total travel costs and other local factors.
2. Inbound Distance Commuter Programs
This program is designed to meet the needs of students in locations where there is insufficient enrollment to bring a monthly College Without Walls program to them. In this case students from several locations will fly in to certain venues which can accommodate these students.
These locations will have facilities and resources to allow the student to enjoy the intensity of this learning program in a relaxed and comfortable manner with minimal extra costs. At present two venues are approved for this program.
- Atlanta, Georgia
- Binghamton, NY
Others locations currently under consideration include
- San Francisco, California
- San Diego, California
These programs are offered on an open enrollment basis and will start when enough students can commit to it in any one location. To get this process started please complete our online application and select Distance Commuter program. There is no cost or obligation to submit this preliminary application. |
