Are you interested in learning more about Kinesiology?
Would you like to receive a complimentary kinesiology balance?
The International College of Healing Arts (ICOHA) would like to invite you to experience kinesiology first hand by being a volunteer for students to complete their homework or for one of our introductory kinesiology clinics.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to experience how kinesiology can improve your life!
Volunteer for a student homework session
Our students are required to actively see clients as part of their professional training. There is an ongoing need for volunteers to help them experience a wide range of clinical situations. By signing up to be a volunteer for homework you will be available to help students with their coursework and to polish their skills. You get the chance to experience the benefits of kinesiology first hand, and both you and the student will benefit from it.
These services are on an as needed basis and will vary according to the needs of the homework assignment. It is helpful for the selection process if you could give us a brief idea about what you want to work on - academic achievement, athletic performance, chronic pain, allergies, food and supplement testing, stress management, etc. Please submit the online registration form to get started.
Volunteer for a student clinic
Our clinics are designed to assist our students in gaining clinical experience to prepare them for their professional life as kinesiologists, while also providing the community with an opportunity to experience kinesiology.
We will begin each clinic by introducing you to kinesiology (its origin, how it works, and the benefits) provided by the faculty of our advanced training program. You will then receive a one-hour session provided by our first or second year students. The clinics are supervised by the ICOHA faculty who are skilled as both practitioners and teachers of the program.
Pre-registration is required as seating is limited 10-12 volunteers per clinic and fills up quickly.
