Preparing for a Kinesiology session:
- The more prepared you are for a session the better your session will be, and the less time it will take.
- Please download the client form; complete it; and return it to your practitioner
- Download the goal setting sheet and begin preparing your goals for the session
- Please have all of the above submitted at least 3 days prior to your appointment.
- The length of a kinesiology session may vary from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on your needs. This will be discussed with the practitioner when booking a session.
- First time sessions generally involve an initial consultation during which a brief health history is taken. This ensures your practitioner has the relevant background information to commence your Kinesiology program.
Practitioner listings
- Listings on this web site are provided as a courtesy only. They are not an endorsement of any particular provider, nor does ICOHA accept any responsibility for the actions of any individual practitioner.
- If you choose to schedule an appointment you are scheduling with an individual practitioner and not with or through this college. This is a private session between you and the practitioner you select. ICOHA has no involvement with, nor any control of or over, these sessions or the individual practitioners.
- ICOHA's involvement is limited to the fact that ICOHA guarantee's that practitioners were competent at the time they took their board exams. ICOHA cannot provide an accurate assessment of clinical competencies since the exams are completed.
- It is the responsibility of the individual seeking services to ensure that the practitioner that they choose is both academically qualified and is competent to provide the level of care they are seeking. Additionally it is important that you and have your practitioner have a good rapport and can interact well together. Only the individual seeking services can determine that fact.
